The excitement continues as we drive towards Pizzi Deneri at 2,840 meters, where you’ll visit the Vulcanological Observatory, a scientific research center that offers a fascinating insight into the ongoing volcanic activity of Mount Etna. From here, the adventure becomes even more thrilling: the ascent on foot. As we make our way along a rugged path surrounded by volcanic scoria and bomb fields, you’ll feel the raw energy of the volcano underfoot. The hike, which covers an ascent of 300 meters, offers stunning panoramic views as we climb towards the summit. At 2,900 meters, you’ll reach a panoramic viewpoint where the breathtaking landscapes of both the Leone Valley and Bove Valley unfold before you.
